Biography

I believe healing happens through connection—with ourselves, with others, and with the world around us. With more than 20 years of experience working closely with people through complex relationships, conflict, change, and questions of meaning and purpose, I bring a deep appreciation for the ways people connect, struggle, heal, and grow. Creativity is central to who I am and to my therapeutic approach. I draw from Emotionally Focused Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, Narrative Therapy, art therapy, and psychodynamic, and humanistic approaches, tailoring therapy to the person rather than following a single formula. Animals and nature offer a powerful sense of grounding, presence, and connection, and I sometimes incorporate my dogs into the therapeutic environment.

The Monterey County Chapter of the California Association of Marriage Family Therapists (MC-CAMFT) is a 501(c)6 non-profit organization.

MC-CAMFT Grievance Policy: If a grievance regarding CEUs is brought to the attention of the MC-CAMFT Board the board will review it and will vote on the validity of the grievance. If the grievance is proven valid by the Board a full or partial refund will be given.
