Programs co-chair Mike Guichet invites Monterey CAMFT members to come out on Sunday, August 2nd, from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm, and come play disc golf. In discovering that the new member of the board, Debra Keller, has a past in the game, we want to invite people out to learn and play.

Please bring a disk if you have one. And for those who do not, disks will be provided.

We also encourage bringing a snack (possibly to share) and personal beverages, similar to those traditions of golf of enjoying the outdoors however you prefer.

We will spend some time practicing before attendees hit the course and play a round of disc golf.

This will be the Psychobabble event, maybe bring along a resource and book to share about. This is an unstructured event, and come on by to come up with your best psychobabble or just share conversations.

Come on by and toss a disc.

Due to the nature of this event, no CEs are offered.

30th Anniversary Summer Bash/Pot Luck (23 Aug 2026)

Our chapter is celebrating 30 years of serving the Monterey county and we want you to come celebrate with us! Our community isn't the same without each and every one of you.

We'll be mingling, networking, and enjoying the musical stylings of some of our founding members.

We are excited to invite you and your families (and furry friends!) to our Summer BBQ Potluck! This is a wonderful opportunity to gather, share a meal, discuss the future of our chapter, and simply have fun together.

We encourage everyone to bring their favorite dish or something grillable to share, along with your enthusiasm and ideas for the future of our chapter.

We will have a skilled grill professional (AKA Mike Guichet) who will be "manning" the grill, and we'll provide burgers and hot dogs, condiments, along with refreshing drinks for everyone.

Tom Kiatta will be providing music ambiance and will help to share music with the return of the music group The DSM 5. The DSM 5 is a satire band formed during the 30 years of MC-CAMFT and a piece of our history.

At noon, we will fill our plates and gather in community to share where we stand as a chapter and open it up to all of you to share any ideas for our chapter and your personal experiences as an MCCAMFT member. Once we've gathered, we will have games and activities for all ages to enjoy.

We look forward to seeing you there and creating wonderful memories together!

This event is free to register for associates, and we would greatly appreciate a donation if you are able to give.
